What is the Canadian Therapist Network?

The Canadian Therapist Network is a dedicated community for mental health professionals, serving as a central hub where professionals can access collective support, empower each other to work more efficiently, share resources, engage in peer consultations, and proactively prevent burnout.

With your subscription, you’ll gain full access to a range of services, including live and on-demand workshops, note-taking sessions, support for building practices, business guidance, educational opportunities, professional development, personal wellness initiatives, and a collection of shared templates and resources. This network was created to fulfill the need for community and connection, with our education team consisting of practicing therapists and other professionals in the field of mental health.

The Canadian Therapist Network stands apart by offering a focused hub for personal and professional support without the distractions of social media. It provides an exclusive space where therapists can build quality relationships, distinct from merely seeking information. Free from sponsors or advertisements, the network ensures a genuine experience. Every member is screened to guarantee qualification as a mental health professional. While there will be a membership rate, it remains more affordable than one-time workshops and ensures a valuable use of time.

Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCCs) are required to accrue a minimum of 36 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) specifically related to counselling and/or psychotherapy over the course of each three-year certification period and to provide documentation of engagement in these professional development activities.

*Note that each province has its own regulatory body with distinct requirements for Continuing Education Credits (CECs). It is advisable to reach out to your regulatory body before enrolling in courses if you intend to use this time to earn credits.

The network is made for mental health professionals who are registered, licensed, or certified. It also welcomes student clinicians, including graduate students and post-graduates pursuing professional qualifications.

Certainly, we will offer a student rate and request verification of current student status.

With our membership subscription, there is no mandatory minimum membership period. However, for members who choose to pay for a full year upfront, a prorated refund will be issued based on the remaining time on the membership. Cancellation is allowed at any time.
